“Just before I met Simone, I was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst and dermoid tumour. I went through surgery and while it was successfully removed, I developed a serious infection that caused me abnormal pain and stomach distension. I came to a point in my life where I needed to lose some weight. The problem was that I knew what I needed to do, but I just couldn’t make myself do it, was too lazy. So I approached Simone for help. I knew I needed a kick in the butt to get started. After reviewing my goals, history and initial questionnaires, Simone created an eating and training program that was tailored towards me; which is great, as I never had that before. 

As time progressed I started seeing results in the mirror. Simone constantly adjusted my goals for nutrition and training, maximizing my gains. ”When I signed up to work with Simone, my goal was to lose my “kangaroo pouch” that came courtesy of having 2 children….and maybe some sweet confections that were forced down my throat. My programs are designed to support people who are seeking both a physical transformation but also the mind-body development to ensure lasting results. The main focus of the program is to strategically help you improve your relationship with food and body image, all within the context of your day-to-day life.

Absolutely not. Meal plans have been shown to be psychologically unsustainable, their rigidity often resulting in poor outcomes and triggering of a black/white, succeed/fail mentality. My programs are rooted in behaviour modification and an integrated model of lifestyle-directed pattern prediction.

General questions regarding your program, can be sent to the email below. Please include your name in the subject field and begin a new email rather than replying to a previous one (unless it is of course an actual reply). Academy Calls will be conducted via ZOOM for those clients opting to participate in them live. Otherwise, they will be sent by email. Tracking data should only be submitted via our Google Spreadsheet and shared through our Drive. Feedback to your weekly submissions will be sent via a LOOM link.

Your body has unique needs which are constantly in flux. Being dogmatic about any prescribed “system” is disembodying and shuts down the lines of communication between your body wisdom and you. Ultimately, I see dietary protocols as experiments through which to learn what works and doesn’t for each client. Expect to explore several and learn something from each.

Your program targets will be determined with consideration of the type of movement/exercise that you currently participate in and are able to commit to with consistency.  You are welcome to train in a gym-based setting a home-based setting, or otherwise.
