Having had the privilege of coaching champion athletes, hardworking mothers and having been both myself, I’ve discovered that the only true one-size-fits-all approach to health, is the one that is built upon a foundation of deep respect for our own inherent body wisdom.

In as much as good nutrition lays at the core of our metabolic fire, nutrient assimilation and digestive force, so too does our stress physiology, our relaxation response and our ability to find pleasure in our life as eaters.

My work commits me to the Science of Nutrition, the Science of Diet Psychology and leveraging the synergy of their offerings for my clients who are ready to finally say YES to mind and body success.

About simone

Simone Maman is a Certified Nutritionist, a Registered Eating Psychology Practitioner, a Registered Hypnotherapist and a Certified Transformation Specialist. She is a 4x Canadian Bodybuilding Champion and an IFBB Professional Athlete. She currently resides in Toronto, Canada with her husband and 5 children where she is working towards her diploma in Orthomolecular Nutrition.

Simone teaches an Action-by-Action approach to behaviour modification, recognizing that the conventional rigidity of dieting protocols and culture, often negatively moderate the Intention-Behaviour Relationship. Her record of client success is attributed to her multifaceted skill set and her ability to intersect both flexible and absolute eating strategies.

While I will be directing your transformation with targeted nutritional program design, I will also be inviting you into the classroom through our weekly Academy Calls.  Academy Calls will provide you with a curriculum to fully understand why your program structure works for you.  I will be teaching you the inner workings of my method and handing them over to you as tools to use on your lifelong health journey.  This pulling back of the coach’s curtains, will enable you to set and achieve virtually any future physique goal, on your own, while continuing to enjoy a limitless variety of foods, GUILT-FREE.

Data Backed Targeting

Your initial targets as well any adjustments made to them, will always be based on your own data feedback. This will ensure safe and steady progress towards your goal while we stay in tune with your unique needs.

Self Monitoring

"What gets monitored, improves", as the management saying goes. Various self-monitoring strategies will be implemented in order to develop accountability and client engagement.

Non-Numeric Success Metric

The scale is only one tool in a toolbox of many. We will use numerous metrics to measure milestones and success; focusing equally on visual changes as on emotional and mental health markers.

Learning Integration

Along with your Academy Calls, each scheduled check-in will center on teaching not just the "what" but the "how and why" of your program. Knowledge is power. Client homework will be assigned and reviewed weekly. These exercises will reveal any existing limiting beliefs around food and body and will allow us to constructively work to reframe them.

You’d think that with all of the rules that we’ve been taught about dieting, that we’d be able to easily achieve our health and fitness goals. The fact is that the more we tune into this system of rules and tune out from our own body wisdom, the more likely we are to miss the mark on our goal and feel like we’ve failed.

The answer isn’t more restriction or more suffering. The answer is body and mind alignment and coupling the emotional needs of the eater with the support of sound nutritional structure. It is my sincerest mission to reintroduce you to your innate inner health compass and guide you towards healing your relationship with food.
